Studied Economics at the University of Illinois, 1909-11; Commerce and Economics at the University of Vermont, 1911-13; Political Science at the University of Pennsylvania, 1913-14. B.S., 1913; M.A., 1914. Returned to China, September, 1914. Member, Department of Ceremonies, President's Office, 1915-16. Production Depart-ment, Salt Administration, 1915 to date. Teacher, Government Teachers' College and National Institute, Peking, 1916 to date.
