倪兆春　字新初。年三十三歲。生於浙江杭州。已婚。初學於寗波三一書院。及上海聖約翰大學。任天津新學書院監督兼敎員。又任上海務本女塾兼南洋中學英文總敎員。宣統三年。自費遊美。繼得半官費三年。入米德布學校。習教育。民國元年。入哥侖比亞大學師範科。習敎育行政。民國二年。得學士學位。仍在哥侖比亞大學。習外交及法律。民國四年。得碩士學位。以演說得金牌銀盃奬。又以美國外交之著述。得最優奬。爲哥侖比亞大學師範學會會計。東美中國學生會主席。巴拿馬博覽會萬國敎育會議中國代表。得校長巴特拉之學金奬。任哥侖比亞大學漢文敎員。爲留美學生月報編輯。民國五年。回國。通信處。浙江杭州中皮市巷。

Nyi, Zau-Tsung.-Born in Hangchow, Chekiang, 1884. Married. Studied at Trinity College, Ningpo, 1897; at St. John's University, Shanghai, 1898-1902. Director and Teacher, Anglo-Chinese College, Tientsin, 1903-6. Head of English Department, Wu-Bun Girls' School and Nanyang Middle School, Shanghai, 1906-11. Arrived in America, January, 1911. Partial government support. Studied Education at Middlebury College, 1911-12; Educational Administration at Columbia University, 1912-13; Diplomacy and International Law at Columbia University, 1913-16. B.S., 1913; M.A., (in Education), 1914; M.A., (in Diplomacy), 1915. Awarded gold medal and silver cup for oratory, 1913; Einstein Prize for best and most original work in American Diplomacy, June, 1915. Treasurer, Teachers' College Club, Columbia University, 1912-13. Chairman, Chinese Students' Alliance, Eastern Section, 1913-14. Delegate to the International Educational Convention at the Panama Pacific International Exposition, 1915. Awarded President Butler's Scholarship, 1914-16. Instructor in Chinese, Columbia University, 1913-14. Returned to China, October, 1916.
