关于 Template:* 和 Template:annotate[编辑]
最近一个用户亲切地帮助我们通过使用{{*}}以改善《日本书纪》的风格。但有一个问题：如果复制和粘贴彩色文字，它们不能与其他部分分离。我知道这是根据规范，但如果你可以考虑采用以下格式，我将非常感激：
…号国常立尊。〈〈至贵曰尊，自馀曰命，并训美举等也。下皆效此。〉〉…
所以我想建议修改Template:*如下：
<small style="color:#996666">〈{{{1}}}〉</small>
出于同样的原因，Template:annotate也应进行修改。

- 本人手里有少许横排的新印古籍，注释均是单行夹注，除字号稍小外并无任何符号将其与正文隔开，甚至连颜色都是清一色的黑色。可见注释不加符号是出版界的惯例，维基文库没必要求新。但正如CES1596提到的一样，复制贴上时注释和正文无法分开，因此想到了隐藏注释首尾的括号（现时暂未添加）的方法。然而隐藏的括号应该可以在复制时被选中，以便在转化成纯文本时保留括号。经查找，发现overflow:hidden似乎可以实现该功能，无奈数次尝试没有成功，希望有专业人士帮忙。--H2NCH2COOH（讨论） 2014年12月7日 (日) 03:18 (UTC)

法律名称太长无法增加新页面[编辑]
如题，全国人大常委会刚通过的《全国人民代表大会常务委员会关于授权国务院在中国（广东）自由贸易试验区、中国（天津）自由贸易试验区、中国（福建）自由贸易试验区以及中国（上海）自由贸易试验区扩展区域暂时调整有关法律规定的行政审批的决定》因名称太长，无法添加以此为标题的新页面。显示错误页面：“所请求页面的标题是无效的、不存在，跨语言或跨wiki链接的标题错误。它可能包含一个或更多的不能用于标题的字符。”请求解决办法。 --Ewan0707（讨论） 2014年12月28日 (日) 19:44 (UTC)
- 两个方案。其一，看新闻，尤其新华社等官方背景的报道是怎样缩略的，如果有较为一致的缩略方式，采用。其二，在上限处（应该是“整”字之后）截掉，采用displaytitle魔术字调整显示标题。 --达师 - 277 - 465 2014年12月29日 (一) 08:49 (UTC)

对template:header的修改[编辑]
我已对template:header做出修改，使得任何{{{section}}}参数不为空（是一个章节）的调用页面不会再被它加入任何分类，这样template:header可以一定程度上覆盖不太完整的template:header2的作用。另外模板页上的说明还没有更新。Huhu9001（讨论） 2015年1月3日 (六) 04:53 (UTC)

刚刚看了一下gerrit:136234，里面提到：
- This won't break the few wikis with ! templates that do something like ... right? 这不会导致将这个冒号模板使用成{{!|...}}的wiki损坏，不是么？

在下搜寻“日报”之后发现了许多结果，例如工商日报/1951年/5月/29日/韩境昨空战 苏式飞机一架被毁，看来维基文库可以放置旧新闻报导。
1947年，纽约时报有一篇旧报导《FORMOSA KILLINGS ARE PUT AT 10,000》，虽然已是68年前的报导，但现今若想阅读，仍要付费，付费后即可下载该报导的 PDF 档案（虽然在网路上搜寻"FORMOSA KILLINGS ARE PUT AT 10,000"也可找到许多能够阅读该报导全文的结果，例如这个）。

有一本1965年的英文书籍名为《Formosa Betrayed》，现已放在网路上供人免费阅读。该书中有一篇文章叫作〈The Heart of the Matter〉，被编排在序言的前面（请参考该书的目录），而这篇文章的内容则又是节录自《United States Relations With China》（《中美关系白皮书》）第309页。

Hello, I made a proposal on Meta to change the rules for the steward confirmations. Currently consensus to remove is required for a steward to lose his status, however I think it's fairer to the community if every steward needed the consensus to keep. The FDC Ombud receives complaints and feedback about the FDC process, investigates complaints at the request of the Board of Trustees, and summarizes the investigations and feedback for the Board of Trustees on an annual basis. Pywikibot compat will no longer be supported - Please migrate to pywikibot core[编辑]

Pywikibot (then "Pywikipediabot") was started back in 2002. In 2007 a new branch (formerly known as "rewrite", now called "core") was started from scratch using the MediaWiki API. The developers of Pywikibot have decided to stop supporting the compat version of Pywikibot due to bad performance and architectural errors that make it hard to update, compared to core. If you are using pywikibot compat it is likely your code will break due to upcoming MediaWiki API changes (e.g. T101524). It is highly recommended you migrate to the core framework. There is a migration guide, and please contact us if you have any problem.
There is an upcoming MediaWiki API breaking change that compat will not be updated for. If your bot's name is in this list, your bot will most likely break.

强制HTTPS已经运用于所有的维基媒体计画之中。可能各位已经有注意到这件事，上周有一些语言的维基百科已经转换到HTTPS，当时便有先行通知会受到影响的相关社群。

There is a proposal at the Commons Village Pump requesting feedback about the thumbnails of static GIF images: It states that static GIF files should have their thumbnails created in PNG. The advantages of PNG over GIF would be visible especially with GIF images using an alpha channel. (compare the thumbnails on the side)

关于标点的问题[编辑]
众所周知汉文的古籍是没有标点符号的。所有的短句和引用部分，尝尝用空格、字符的大小和句号来分开。因此我认为除了有特殊需要的文章（例如章节较长，难以理解，字音区分等等），所有的符号都应该被句号和换行符替代。另外在我最近追加的页面中，我采用了换行符。以上。--Asmend（讨论） 2015年10月7日 (三) 17:11 (UTC)

If you want to carefully review nearly a thousand applications in January, you might be a perfect committee member. We understand that a campaign like this would be unprecedented in Wikipedia's history, which is why we're seeking the widest possible consensus among the community.
Given Bassel's urgent situation and the resulting tight schedule, we ask everyone to get involved with the poll and the discussion to the widest possible extent, and to promote it among your communities as soon as possible.

应该都是有法律效力的（{{PD-PRC-exempt}}）没错。刚搬了一个香港CEPA协定原文正文，后面还有一大堆可搬（有闲可以协助一下）。

As many of you know, January 15 is Wikipedia’s 15th Birthday!
People around the world are getting involved in the celebration and have started adding their events on Meta Page. While we are celebrating Wikipedia's birthday, we hope that all projects and affiliates will be able to utilize this celebration to raise awareness of our community's efforts.
Haven’t started planning? Don’t worry, there’s lots of ways to get involved. Here are some ideas:
- Join/host an event. We already have more than 80, and hope to have many more.
- Talk to local press. In the past 15 years, Wikipedia has accomplished extraordinary things. We’ve made a handy summary of milestones and encourage you to add your own. More resources, including a press release template and resources on working with the media, are also available.
- Design a Wikipedia 15 logo. In place of a single icon for Wikipedia 15, we’re making dozens. Add your own with something fun and representative of your community. Just use the visual guide so they share a common sensibility.
- Share a message on social media. Tell the world what Wikipedia means to you, and add #wikipedia15 to the post. We might re-tweet or share your message!
Everything is linked on the Wikipedia 15 Meta page. You’ll find a set of ten data visualization works that you can show at your events, and a list of all the Wikipedia 15 logos that community members have already designed.

能否批量创建、修改页面？[编辑]

A new "Welcome" message[编辑]
Hello everyone. Apologies for using English on this page. 请帮助翻译至您的语言. 谢谢您！
This is a heads-up about a change which was announced in Tech News: Add the "welcome" dialog (with button to switch) to the wikitext editor.
In a nutshell, this will soon provide a one-time "Welcome" message in the wikitext editor which explains that anyone can edit, and every improvement helps. The user can then start editing in the wikitext editor right away, or switch to the visual editor. This is the equivalent of an already existing welcome message for visual editor users, which suggests the option to switch to the wikitext editor. If you have already seen this dialog in the visual editor, you will not see the new one in the wikitext editor. It won't say "Wikipedia" here ;)
- The current site-wide configuration of the visual editor stays the same.
- Nothing changes permanently for users who chose to hide the visual editor in their Preferences, or for wikis where it's still a Beta Feature, or for wikis where certain groups of users don't get the visual editor tab, etc.
- This wiki features a Single Edit Tab system; if you're not sure you know or remember how that works, you can read the guide (which details, among other things, how to switch between editors from the buttons on the toolbar); you can change your editing settings at any time, by the way.
- There is a slight chance that you see a few more questions than usual about the visual editor. Please refer people to the documentation or to the feedback page, and feel free to ping me if you have questions too! I had also written a very quick intro to the visual editor, in case anyone is interested.
- Finally, I want to acknowledge that, while not everyone will see that dialog, many of you will; if you're reading this you are likely not the intended recipients of that dialog, so you may be confused or annoyed by it—and if this is the case, I'm truly sorry about that. Please feel free to cross-post this message at other venues on this wiki, if you think it will avoid that other users feel caught by surprise by this change.
